It looks like the anagram mania game is going through the 12 days of Christmas again. These anagrams were also used last year. And I'd bet my last dollar the anagram on Christmas day will be Merry Christmas and that it will be Happy New Year on January 1. It would be nice if someone would use a little more imagination and come up with different anagrams so that those of us who play most days don't get to the point where we recognize patterns and repeated anagrams.

good point, but maybe it's done for the new members of the site. they wouldn't have got it yet, so that's why it's their. but if the anagram is merry christmas and happy new year like you say, then that really needs to be thought about

Bob, shut up. Hey, now that would make a great anagram.

I have to say I agree with this; a bit more creativity wouldn't go astray.
And Lol to Bobby! :)

Or, at the very very least, increase the minimum word size every year until they reach five or six, and then come up with new ones at that point.

I can even come up with some suggestions. For example, how about the titles of Christmas songs at this time of year. In the couple of weeks leading up to the Oscar Awards, how about titles of movies that are nominated or names of actresses and actors who have been nominated. In the weeks leading up to or following the Grammy Awards, you could use song titles that were nominated or the names of nominated artists. There are all kinds of themes that could be used throughout the year to keep things interesting.

At least you know we read the Boards, right? LOL. Will we always be creative? Absolutely not. I agree that this same thing shouldn't have been done as last year, but I haven't been putting the anagrams up, so wasn't aware this was going on.

Maybe the next one will be "I'm not feeling creative today"! :)
